What You Said To Me Review And Giveaway!

Wow! What an amazing finish to a remarkable series! Olivia Newport has wrapped up the Tree of Life series in an inspiring way. I loved how pieces of the previous books were brought in to compound the story and finish off nicely. The father daughter duo we have become attached to in the previous books were back, and character development was superb once again! With a new storyline to dive into through Tisha, we learn even more about Canyon Mines heritage through her ancestry. Nolan and Jillian kept things moving, as well as friends we met in the previous books and new friends from this journey.  While there was just a  tad of romance in this book, I love the fact that it gives a break from the normal heavy romance and that the main characters are father/daughter and not boyfriend/girlfriend. I do love romances also, but it’s nice to just have a break and read lighthearted stories once in a while. The only thing I can think of that would make this better was if Jillian were able to fin

The Escape Review

In The Escape, Lisa Harris gives us an exciting start to her US Marshals series.  The opening scene is developed well and grabs the reader’s attention from the start. Throughout we are met with many exciting instances that draw us into and keep us interested in the storyline. The cliffhanger at the end leaves us waiting for the next story to quickly come out!  The characters are developed well, and the storyline moves along at a great pace.  I received a copy of this book from the publisher, but was not required to give a positive review. Softly Blows the Bugle Review

Jan Drexler has created an amazing finale for The Amish of Weaver’s Creek trilogy! I have loved every book in this series. I believe this is the first series I have read about the Amish during the Civil War period, and it was fascinating to see the ramifications of the war on the people.  The characters were a continuation of the previous two books along with some new ones added in. The story line moves along at a rewarding pace, and there was a brilliant conclusion to it all. I received a copy of this book from the publisher, but was not required to give a positive review. All opinions are my own.

A Haven For Her Heart Review

Image
It is hard to put into words how amazing this book is! I honestly had no idea what it was about when I picked it out to read. I was just interested in the cover and the author.  After beginning to read, I discovered an entire history I knew nothing about. Susan Anne Mason has done a wonderful job of researching a topic that we find unbelievable today while bringing us in to the storyline with hearts wide open.  The characters are lovable and realistic. The character development is amazing and connects us to the characters in an emotionally bound way.  I received a digital copy of this book from the publisher, but was not required to submit a positive review. All opinions are my own.

Her Secret Song Review

Image
In Her Secret Song, Mary Connealy creates a fantastic wrap up for her Brides of Hope Mountain trilogy. Each book covers one sister, and it is amazing to see the varying personalities each sister brings!  In Her Secret Song, we are able to finish the series up with Ursula, and while some things are the same problems to overcome (such as two Bibles), we are also confronted with her unique personality and the challenges of being the oldest. Character development is great, and the plot moves along at a wonderful rate! I received an ecopy of this book from the publisher. I was not required to submit a positive review. All opinions are my own.

The Shepherd’s Wife Review

Image
I will start it out simple: I absolutely loved this book! I loved so many things about it including the characters, the perspective, the plot twists, the calling of our hearts towards God. Throughout the story, Hunt does not have us learning much about Yeshua, nor even Mary and Joseph, but rather his siblings he grew up with. It was delightful to get caught up in what Jesus’s home life may have been like. Of course, no one really knows, but when we take the time to imagine, it makes it seem so much more realistic instead of just a story.  Hunt does an amazing job in this book, and I will definitely be looking forward to the next!
