Forget and Now Review and Giveaway

This is the first story I have read by Alana Terry and I was blown away! Alana Terry was able to captivate my attention from the beginning to the end. Not only was I captivated, I also did not guess what had happened until the last bit. It was a well drawn out and perfectly time suspense! The characters are well developed and the story line flows wonderfully. The Wedding Dress Christmas Review

Image
Once again, Rachel Hauck has blown me away by her ability to weave a story that completely captivated my attention from start to finish! In The Wedding Dress Christmas, we are taken back to Hearts Bend, TN to continue the story of the wedding dress and the bride it is meant to go to next. If you have not completely read the other books in the series, don’t fear! You can still follow the story with no problem. However, if you have read the others in the series, it does interweave the previous stories into it. I have only read The Wedding Dress - with all of this moving stuff, I have not had a chance to read The Wedding Chapel and The Wedding Shop yet, but I definitely plan to! I absolutely love the way that Rachel Hauck draws the parallel between Salvation and the wedding dress. Between being set free, the way it fits, the man in purple, and the hope it gives, I had goosebumps and that happy choked up feeling. If you’re in the mood for a quick but very well done read, this book wou

The Heart of Recovery Review

Image
In The Heart of Recovery, Deborah and David Beddoe walk us through several ways to stick with it during this crisis our country is having. The Beddoes bring up several original points concerning how we should be able to deal with the people that need to recover from their addictions. Each point is enhanced by walking us through the way we could be feeling and the best ways to help encourage and build up those recovering addicts. The Beddoes do not hold back and they speak clearly in layman’s terms to us. Overall, The Heart of Recovery is a book that is perfect for those needing help in knowing how to minister to and stick by those who need it most.

The Camera Never Lies Review and Blog Tour

I was excited to be able to receive an advanced copy of The Camera Never Lies by David Rawlings. While I have not read his previous book (yet!!), I have heard great things about it.  In The Camera Never Lies, Rawlings weaves a tale about things that many of us harbor secretly. From the book description: “Daniel, Kelly, and Milly appear to be the perfect family. But an old camera will expose secrets no one wants developed.” All of us know our own weaknesses. Many of us never take the time to think about what may happen to us and those around us if we keep our sins hidden.  Rawlings kept me captivated and I finished this book within 2 days. The plot was well executed and the fictional world created was very believable. Through his words, I felt as if I were a part of his world also and that the camera could see into my soul as well.  I will be checking his previous book out as I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Christmas on Breaker’s Point Review

Image
I was about to ask a Facebook group I am in for recommendations for a Christian Fiction book that would make me cry - that sounds awful, but sometimes you just get in a mood for a good, heart-wrenching read. I’m glad I never asked because Christmas on Breaker’s Point had me weeping in the first chapter! Chautona Havig knocked it out of the park while developing the story of Bud and Mallory and their friends in Breaker’s Point.  While this book does have a romantic story weaved in, it is more a story of loving a prodigal and redemption for anyone. I love the relationships built in a small town and the way everyone was real - it was not glossed over into a fantasy world, but it leaves us feeling as if these characters could be real. About the Book Book:   Christmas on Breakers Point Author:  Chautona Havig Genre:  Christian Contemporary Fiction, Christian Romantic Fiction, Christmas One man’s last Christmas wish might change two lives forever.
