The Heart of Recovery Review



In The Heart of Recovery, Deborah and David Beddoe walk us through several ways to stick with it during this crisis our country is having.
The Beddoes bring up several original points concerning how we should be able to deal with the people that need to recover from their addictions. Each point is enhanced by walking us through the way we could be feeling and the best ways to help encourage and build up those recovering addicts. The Beddoes do not hold back and they speak clearly in layman’s terms to us.
Overall, The Heart of Recovery is a book that is perfect for those needing help in knowing how to minister to and stick by those who need it most.

  When thinking of a Cinderella retelling, my mind certainly never went to the world that Chautona Havig has created. Havig has taken something “ordinary” and “mundane” and used her creative genius to form a world brimming with new possibilities. At the start of the book, Havig begins setting the stage with the main characters and we learn who is who. As the plot moves along, Havig does an excellent job of building the world and storyline. The plot moves along at a great pace and the character building is on par. But, this is what I have come to expect from a Havig book! This is the first story I have read by Alana Terry and I was blown away! Alana Terry was able to captivate my attention from the beginning to the end. Not only was I captivated, I also did not guess what had happened until the last bit. It was a well drawn out and perfectly time suspense! Childhood Review and Giveaway!

In Childhood, we are able to see into the “beginning of the story” so to speak, and see where the main  characters in Greg Schaffer’s upcoming full length novel Fatherhood are coming from. I like the fact that we see into the backgrounds - a lot of times when we don’t know the background of someone, we are quick to judge rather than feel compassion.
