Princess Wren is not what you would expect from a princess. She is lonely and through the years makes a friend who teaches her skills that lead to her independence. Jill Eileen Smith has blown it out of the park *again*! Starting out with Joseph as a young man, Smith takes us in a journey into the developing situation of Jacob’s family. Smith thoroughly researched as she always does to present us with a story that is as accurate as you can get. Where there is fine a biblical truth, Smith sticks to it and builds her fictional world around it instead of trying to make the Bible change to fit her narrative. Definitely a recommended read!!
