Princess Wren is not what you would expect from a princess. She is lonely and through the years makes a friend who teaches her skills that lead to her independence. Princess Wren finds herself in some impossibly hard circumstances that leave you on the edge of your seat to see what the outcome is. Throughout the story, the gospel message is weaved in seamlessly. While reading the book, I was reminded of Pilgrim’s Progress several times. I would highly recommend reading the book. About the Book Book: Indebted Author: Charmayne Hafen Genre: Young Adult, Adventure, Mythology Release Date: August 25, 2019 When the abandoned princess discovers a friend, some muscle, and a passion for swords, she also acquires the crucible by which she uncovers the mysterious key to unlock her grief and win true freedom. Or will her strength confound her future in the kingdom to which she rides? At the mythical edge of the Berkshire F...
I love doing research about what makes specific info special and this book makes it so easy to be able to see many different plants and their purposes from the Bible. The book is sectioned and flows well! About the Book Book: In The Garden Author: Whitaker House Editorial Genre: Christian non-fiction, Biblical history, cultural, Biblical reference Release Date: January 10, 2020 Consider not only the lilies of the field, but all the plants, trees, herbs, shrubs, and flowers that play a role in the biblical narrative through this illustrated guide. With original illustrations, this beautiful gift book clarifies the biblical references to fifty...
Jill Eileen Smith has blown it out of the park *again*! Starting out with Joseph as a young man, Smith takes us in a journey into the developing situation of Jacob’s family. Smith thoroughly researched as she always does to present us with a story that is as accurate as you can get. Where there is fine a biblical truth, Smith sticks to it and builds her fictional world around it instead of trying to make the Bible change to fit her narrative. Definitely a recommended read!! I was provided a copy of this book from the publisher. I was not required to give a positive review. All opinions are my own.
