The Last Gasp Review and Giveaway

  When thinking of a Cinderella retelling, my mind certainly never went to the world that Chautona Havig has created. Havig has taken something “ordinary” and “mundane” and used her creative genius to form a world brimming with new possibilities. At the start of the book, Havig begins setting the stage with the main characters and we learn who is who. As the plot moves along, Havig does an excellent job of building the world and storyline. The plot moves along at a great pace and the character building is on par. But, this is what I have come to expect from a Havig book! Havig crafts great stories period.  While this is not a storyline I would have come up with, at the end, Havig will leave you believing that it is a wonderful real world. That’s the thing with great storytellers - they have the ability to take something no one else would dream of and make an amazing work of art out of it.  I received a copy of this book, but was not required to give a positive review. Love and the Silver Lining Review

  I am running a bit late due to an overdue family visit, but I have finished this amazing story that released a week ago today!  Tammy L Gray has once again created an in depth experience that leaves you changed once you read it in her newest book, Love and the Silver Lining. While all of us are probably not going through the exact experiences that Darcy, Bryson, Zoe, Charlie, and Cameron experience in the book, the underlying themes of forgiveness, letting go of the past, and moving forward into a new future that depends on God even when things don’t go according to our plan can resonate with everyone. I know it did me.  The character development is fantastic with a gratifying pace of learning each character in depth. The plot line moves along at a wonderful pace - everything flows seamlessly.  While the main plot line wraps up nicely, there is a bit of wonder left at the end about some of the characters, so I am hoping that we get to see some more in the State of ...
